very cool, but the rank does not seem to ever go down, and can you just *not* die? also, the music is great. lastly, please add iframes, it's so evil without them
Fun little shmup! It feels very fluid (though a little more invulnerability on spawning in would be nice since I got spawnkilled a few times) and though a lot of the patterns were pretty simple graze it was still fun to maneuver them.
Rank got permanently stuck at 15 before I could defeat the boss though, at which point the bullets were moving so fast that I couldn't weave through to hit the core without dying, so I ended up just safespotting next to the boss haha
Definitely has a lot of potential and I'd be excited to see it expanded!
I probably should've resorted to the weight system of determining artificial slowdown, so that it would be possible to contribute to it from entities themselves, not from the controller 'cause uh, I wrote down 2 or 3 individual combos, which is already a pain to work with lol
